I believe all children are visual learners. They need to feel and touch! I am a strong believer in creative art and having children involved in art should be a must.
Thank you very much for this gift, for sharing this practical wisdom to help transforming our world into a better place for all of us, living beings, to live in peace, harmony and bliss.
Thanks so much for this inspiring session, Jinpa and Keligh.
Thank you Kaleigh and Thupten Jinpa for so freely sharing your wisdom with us. I am a believer in the power of thoughts. Even our collective thoughts on compassion will send out positive vibes in the world and at the same time energize us to practice compassion in our own lives.
I have found that involving children in creative activities painting, clay etc helps stability because of the use of hands, as long as the activity process is fun not expectations of the product.
As a small network of friends, Possibilities, started in Mumbai, since 1995,has been spreading deeper values through fun activities at schools, colleges, and open air spaces like Equal Streets.
Wishing you all the best in this adventure called life..
It was so inspiring! Thank you!

This is an amazingly honest and deeply inspirational discussion of compassion. I have shared it with many friends. As in reading poetry, it brings about an aesthetic of living with awe and a gracious approach to embracing others and self. Thank you, Jinpa.
Thanks for sending the link. Listening to the recording. A most excellent presentation with a great opportunity to understand compassion and then relate the burn out through empathy resonates to my experience in 2018. Still in recovery 🙏. The course you are offering isa natural step for my own development. Thankyou.

Similar classes are available through Stanford (open to anyone). They use Jimpa’s book and I think it involves weekly classes over about a 10 week period. I forget exactly. http://ccare.stanford.edu/education/about-compassion-training/

Hello there,
I am Jackie originally from Vienna in Austria, living abroad for over 13 years, currently residing on the Canary Islands in Spain. I’ve experienced alienation with other quite often or maybe only the ingroup and outgroup factors due to the fact that I am always the foreigner. I’d like to share that I was able to learn a lot from your teachings. Especially the ones from Thupten Jinpa. It gave me input to think and contemplate in a different way. I am practicing Vipassana meditation daily for over six years and still find it difficult to understand what love, compassion and true empathy are. So with your remarks I have new input to work on.
I’d like to add that in my case the pandemic also gave me new possbilities for instance, joining this Summit and a lot of other interesting contents which are now held online, which I would have never been able to attend before.
So thank you from human to human.
With Metta. Jackie
I myself feel compassion really helped me in these difficult times and I also feel its key as the Dalai Lama said “compassion is the recognition of the suffering of self and others with a deep motivation to relive it”

Thank you so much for your beautiful Dhamma talk on Compassion. HH The Dalai Lama emphasised that compassion should always be used with wisdom . Can you expand on this aspect of compassion . You are now talking on empathic reaction in relation to compassion . Can you kndly mention on how to translate the feelings of compassion into altruistic actions. Sadhu, Sadhu, Sadhu.

This will forever be in my heart; even during a pandemic, we all connected live today to practice compassion for all and to continue to spread the action of compassion throughout the world.
Thank you for offering this.
Inspiring and practically very useful!
Thank you Junpa
Thank you very enlightening and much needed in today’s world.
Thank you, thank you, many times over for this invaluable time in compassion! Joyce Shaffer
Thanks. I can hear today. I will hear in Spanish tomorrow.
Looking forward to hearing Thubten Jinpa’s teachings. Having compassion for all beings (not just humans) feels important, wondering how best to cultivate this when cultivating compassion for others.
I’m finding it difficult to reconcile how the notion of “duality” relates to the concepts of “self”- compassion and compassion for “others”. I’m sure its not, but it seems to be contradictory. Perhaps this can be adressed?.
Looking forward to this and how we can apply compassion in such difficult times to reduce suffering
We all have to have compassion, empathy, kindness, forgiveness, caring, thoughtfulness, active communication, and profound listening skills, We all bleed the same. Humanitarianism is a must for all. Spirituality, kindness in words brings confidence, kindness in thoughts brings profoundness, and kindness in giving brings Love. Seek out values such as self-worth, personal growth, spirituality, happiness, forgiveness, positive characteristics, and emotions. Life Visions and quality of life.
¿Cómo podemos implementar practicas de compasión en las escuelas y comunidad escolar para una mejor convivencia humana?
Dear Webmasters,
your page is horrible, because with great care I did answer 3 people here only to find out that nothing of it all was posted,
because I did enter the email I did subscribe with at your website;
yet your comment system does utilise Gravatar so all comments from people who do not have a Gravatar account are simply omitted.
(In case you wonder: I did post this comment with my wordpress-gravatar-account)
You must have lost literally hundreds of mails by now using the wordpress-system (at least a dozen from me alone)
Big mistake!
Muchisimas gracias!
ist the day 21. or 22 ?

Hi Ecky, Just click on “See Your Timezone” above” to see when he meeting will start for you.
Hummm… I think I have difficulties generating “genuine compassion” on all kinds of and all levels of “fraud-doers”… So particularly considering this point how can I practice?
Ha, I see a wise and nice answer now (quickly).

Ha! I see a wise and nice answer now (quickly). It’s in a short video clip of HHDL’s Q&A.
https://fb.watch/5DoJEF1c2u/ or https://fb.watch/5DoKSG87Bk/
“…make distinction between actor and action; like our own case, when we make confession, at that moment, we make distinction between “my wrong act” and “myself as the actor”…”
Hey 黃 基展, I fully can relate to your feelings and actually do share them. That’s why I think you definitely should listen to Thupten Jinpa, because of all talks on the 4-day-seminar he was the only one who did not push unconditional compassion onto us, but told us to simply observe what is there.
Click on my link in which I did summarise exactly that.
Actually I had replied to myself (a few hours later) but those self-reply did not show off:
Ha, I see a wise and nice answer (from HHDL with Thupten Jinpa) now (quickly):
“…make distinction between actor and action, like our own case, when we make confession, at that moment, we make distinction between “my wrong act” and “myself as the actor”, so I realize such such actions are wrong, so I feel regert, so we make distinction between “wrong action” and “actor”…”

Estou muito feliz em saber que pessoas estão ensinando mecanismos para facilitar o exercício da compaixão e dando oportunidade para vivenciar a experiência com a consciência ampliada. Há uma esperança na transformação de cada ser humano.
