[Video] Guidance for the Holiday Season from Mingyur Rinpoche

The time of year known as “the holidays” can bring such a wide range of experiences for many of us.  As we enter into the season, we wanted to take a moment to pause and offer this short teaching from Mingyur Rinpoche on how we might approach this time of year in a beneficial way.

In this 5-minute video, Rinpoche shares insight into why the holidays can be so challenging, yet also hold the possibility for tremendous love, compassion, and growth. The key to experiencing the latter, he says, is bringing awareness to the various thoughts and emotions — like stress, disappointment, and expectations — as they arise, and then letting them go.
